Specify movie audio materials using one of the following two methods.
- Use the audio tracks in an AVI file.
- Specify audio material files separately from the video material .

Assigning Speakers for 5.1-channel Audio Materials
For 5.1-channel audio materials, you will need to prepare six channels in a single material file.
The corresponding speaker positions for each channel are shown in the following table.

Creating 5.1-channel Audio With Monaural Materials
To use six monaural material files for 5.1-channel audio, you must use the console version of the encoder.
In this case, the order that you specify the materials in and the speaker position assignments are different from when using a six-channel audio material file.
