This section gives information about the additional VP9 playback feature of the Sofdec2 library.

About the additional VP9 playback feature

The VP9 video codec is OSS (open source software), and it is not included as part of the standard Sofdec2 library.

It is included in a separate folder of this SDK, and by incorporating it in the Sofdec2 library, the library can support VP9 playback.
