On this page, specify the video materials for the Sofdec2 data.
Video Material File Selection
- Specifying Video Materials
Specify the video materials. For sequential numbered still images, specify the first image file.
- Video Codec
Specify the video codec.
When [Standard] is selected as the platform, you cannot specify [H.264] as the video codec.
- Specifying Frame Rate
When sequential numbered still images is selected, you must specify the frame rate for the movie.
Even when a movie material is selected, you can still forcibly change the frame rate. (*1)(*2)
The frame rates that can be specified are shown below:
60 /59.94 /50 /30 /29.97 /25 /24 /23.976 /20 /15 /10 |
The default frame rate setting is 29.97 FPS.
[Notes]
(*1)
Note that the frame rate setting does not insert frames
or cull frames.
The frame rate information specified here is embedded into the movie data header,
and is then used for adjusting the frame acquisition timing at runtime playback.
For example, if you encode 60 FPS source video material at 30 FPS, the data size will not change.
To create an actual 30 FPS movie, you must create the source material at 30 FPS.
(*2)
You cannot forcibly specify a frame rate for sound when using a source movie material
with sound.
If you want to change the frame rate of a movie that includes sound, you must modify the sound material according to the desired frame rate (e.g., by changing the sampling frequency to coincide with the length of the movie) in advance.
You must also then specify that sound material on the Input Sound Materials page.
- Changing the Resolution
You can enlarge or reduce the image size of an encoded movie to the specified size.
- Specifying Cuepoint Information File
You can specify a cuepoint information file here.
For details on cuepoint information files, refer to Cuepoint Information Files.
- Alpha Movie Creation
This check box is enabled when all the conditions for alpha movie creation are met.
When this check box is selected, the specified video material is encoded as an alpha movie.
This option cannot be selected if the video material does not have an alpha channel.
This option also cannot be selected if H.264 is selected for the video codec.
